Correct mounting of the rolling element bearings

Reliability and longevity of the equipment directly depends on quality of the bearing installation on a shaft. The bearing installation according to the IORS standard should be conducted with observance of certain techniques and is divided into three methods: the installation using the induction heaters BALTECH HI Series, depending on the required capacity and size of the bearings, the heat is uniformly distributed on the surface; mechanical mounting using a special mounting tool kit that uniformly transmits force to the bearing rings without damaging the rings and rolling element; hydraulic mounting using the hydraulic equipment.

Use of open fire is unaccebtable. Instead, use the induction heaters BALTECH HI Series. It should be also noted that change from using the oil bath to use of the induction heaters for heating the bearings has a lot of advantages: precise and uniform heating of the bearing to the defined temperature, minimum heating time, stuff safety, no smell and smoke, energy saving and environmental friendliness.

The proper mounting equipment provides failure-free operation of your facilities and prevents losses caused by emergency shut-downs of machines.
