The induction heater is a modern device designed for fast and qualitative non-contact heating of gears, bearings, couplings before their installation of shafts. As during the bearing replacement temperature of this bearing should exceed the temperature of the rotating shaft by more than 80-90°C then the heated bearing achieves the defined temperature within the accuracy of one degree at the same time preserving the metal structure and geometry dimensions which ensures easy and correct bearing installation on a shaft and as a result a qualitative operation of the bearing during its whole service life.
The heating temperature and time control is performed automatically by the microprocessor unit built- in into the system. These parameters are displayed on the screen of the BALTECH HI-1660 induction heater which provides operational comfort. The advantage of the induction heater is that during the whole heating process the panels and yokes remain cold while the bearing ring is uniformly heated. After the heating the automatic demagnetization of the bearing takes place to prevent small metal parts getting into the rolling elements. It should be also noted that the induction heater doesn’t emit smell and smoke, which is environmentally friendly and safe.
